Obituary for Deborah Ann Dowdell

Deborah Ann Dowdell, 58, of 253 Wahconah Street, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, June 30,
2015, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on January 6, 1957, the daughter of Thomas R. and Catherine R. Hunt
Dowdell, she was a 1974 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
In 2010, Miss Dowdell graduated on the Dean's List with Honors from American
Intercontinental University where she earned an associate degree in Medical Coding and Billing.
Miss Dowdell served with the United States Army National Guard.
From 1992 to 1994, she was employed by the Bennington School for Boys. In 1994, she
went to work for Speedy Printing where she worked until 2005. From 2005 until 2010, she
was the night audit manager for a hotel in Greenville, South Carolina.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Pittsfield.
Miss Dowdell is survived by a daughter, Andrea L. Dowdell, with whom she lived; four
Grandchildren: Keith Filault, Jennifer Filault, Ryan Eggleston, and Shatava Dowdell; three
brothers and a sister; and her great-aunt: Mae Hunt.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
A memorial service for Deborah Ann Dowdell will be held WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2015 at
1:00 PM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 67 East Street, Pittsfield. There are no calling
hours. The DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
