David Newton Hall, 66, of Holden, passed away peacefully, June 4, 2017 in UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, from complications of pneumonia.
David was born in East Millinocket, Maine, September 19, 1950, son of the late Roger E. and Helen G. (Johnson) Hall. David attended Seven Hills Day Care Program in Worcester. Prior to moving to Holden, David lived at the Templeton Developmental Center in Baldwinville for approximately 30 years. He also lived in the Fernald School Waltham for many years.
David was an avid Red Sox fan and he loved watching the games and enjoyed watching Patriots games as well. He enjoyed watching the news and the weather and reporting to his housemates in Holden. He collected watches and wallets, and kept them close to him at all times. They brought him great joy and comfort. David will be remembered for his meticulous style and appearance, his love of music and the love he brought to all who knew him.
David will be affectionately missed by his sister; Carolyn Wichmann and her husband, Ted of Pittsfield; his brother, Robert Hall; his beloved housemates; and the entire staff at the Holden House.
