Obituary for Darrell V. Kickery
Darrell V. Kickery, 56, of 5 Daniels Avenue Ext., died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at
Hillcrest Commons.
Born in Pittsfield on May 5, 1958, a son of Murdick "Sam" M. and Catherine M. Shaw Kickery, he
was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mr. Kickery worked for Sacco Moving and Storage, The Berkshire Eagle, and Goodwill Industries.
He was fond of animals and he enjoyed gardening.
Mr. Kickery is survived by six brothers, Kenneth E., Darwin R., Robin L., Wayne L., Bruce E. and
Carl D. Kickery; five sisters, Carolyn A. Ferry, Dolores B. Davis, Ethel M. Davis, Sharon L. Ouellette, and
Charlotte D. Kickery; and his longtime companion, Jennifer Morgan.
He was pre-deceased by seven brothers, Joseph, Lawrence, Emerson, John, Roy, and two
infant brothers.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME
with his nephew, Lawrence Davis, III., officiating.
