Obituary for Daniel G. Sweet, Jr.
Daniel G. Sweet, Jr., 87, formerly of Webster, MA, passed away January 28, 2022 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, MA.
Born in Chatham, NY on August 23, 1934 to Daniel G. Sweet, Sr., and Dolores Cordero Sweet.
He attended Chester High School.
Mr. Sweet was a tool and die maker for InterRoyal Tool and Die Company in Plainfield, Connecticut.
He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Golden and husband Scott of Plainfield, CT; son, Mark Sweet of North Adams, MA; his adoptive son, Bruce Sweet of Webster, MA and two sisters, Juanita Pendergast of Main and Margaret Curtis of Florida. Eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
As Daniel would say, "Keep on dancing".
Graveside services will be held in the spring in North Becket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the ALS Association in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
