Obituary for Daniel D. Robichaud

DANIEL DAVID ROBICHAUD, 86, of 64 Cloverdale Street, Pittsfield, died Thursday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, April 13, 1920, the son of Daniel M. and Ellen G. Blaney
Robichuad, he was a 1938 graduate of Pittsfield High School. A World War II veteran, he served in the United States Air Force from September
24, l942 to October 20, 1945, and had been stationed in India and Burma.
Mr. Robichaud was employed as an Industrial Truck Repairman with General Electric Company for 44 � years retiring in 1983. He was a communicant of St. Mark Church. He was a member of the G.E.
Quarter Century and Pensioners Clubs, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars
Post 448, and belonged to the Pittsfield Senior Center. He enjoyed bowling, fishing,
and square dancing.Mr. Robichaud leaves his wife, the former Bertha A. Lefebvre, whom he
married August 30, 1941.Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Charles Robichaud of
Stephentown, New York, Gerald Robichaud of Lanesborough, and Daniel Robichaud
of Pittsfield; two daughters, Pamela M. Robichaud of Fort Ann, New York, and Su Ellen Prechtl of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for DANIEL DAVID ROBICHAUD, who died Thursday,
June 8, will be Saturday, June 10, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with
Rev. John C. Salatino, Pastor of St. Mark Church, officiating. Burial at the convenience
of the family in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Housatonic. There are no calling hours. In
lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Robichaud may be made to National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to National Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.Mr. Robichaud leaves his three grandchildren, John Catalano, Jason Robichaud,
and Jaclyn Robichaud, and two great grandchildren, Mikayla and Kyleigh Catalano.
He was pre-deceased by a sister, Claire Lash.
