Obituary for Daniel W. Mack Sr.

DANIEL WILLIAM MACK, SR., 58, of 31 Edgemere Road, Dalton, died Thursday, April 1, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, November 20, 1951, a son of the late Robert and Frances
Sakowski Mack, he was educated in Pittsfield schools. He served with the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Mack was the owner-operator of Jean's Cleaners and Nifty Cleaners in
Pittsfield and One Stop Cleaners in Lanesborough.
He was a communicant of St. Agnes Church.
He was a member of the Dalton American Legion. He was also a member of the National Dry Cleaners Association.
He enjoyed computers, walking, and shopping.
Mr. Mack leaves his wife, the former Mary E. Finnegan, whom he married August 21, 1971, in St. Charles Church in Pittsfield.
He is also survived by a son, Daniel W. Mack, Jr., of Dalton; four brothers, Albert Mack of Maryland, James Mack of Pittsfield, Joseph Mack of Pittsfield, and Bernard Mack of Pittsfield; seven sisters, Frances Mack of the State of Florida, Barbara Rahilly of Pittsfield, Joan Mack of Becket, Carol Mack of South Carolina, Alma Phillips of Pittsfield, Ann Lunsford of Texas, and Kathy Mack of Virginia; two grandchildren, Tiana Leigh Mack and Ryan William Mack. He was pre-deceased by a son, Kurt J. Mack, who died April 30, 2009, and a
brother, Robert Mack, who died in 1969.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for DANIEL WILLIAM MACK, SR. will be Tuesday, April 6, at 9:15 a.m. from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial
at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church, celebrated by Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor.
Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, from 4:00
to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr.
Mack may be made to establish an education fund for his grandchildren, Tiana and Ryan.
Checks should be may be payable to Greylock Federal Credit Union in care of the Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
