Obituary for Daniel F. Cobb

Daniel Francis Cobb, 51, of Kitchen Brook Park, Cheshire, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on April 21, 1961, a son of Elizabeth Carlson Cobb and the
late of Robert M. Cobb, he was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mr. Cobb was most recently employed as a delivery driver for the former
Elm Street Florist. Prior to that, he had worked for General Electric Company. He was also the primary caregiver for his mother.
He had been a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
He enjoyed yard work, working on automobiles, and being with family and
friends. Besides his mother of Cheshire, he is survived by his life partner, James J.
Converse of Cheshire; five brothers, Richard Cobb of Dalton, Robert Cobb of Cheshire,
William Cobb of Pittsfield, James Cobb of Wilton Manor, Florida, and Peter Cobb of
Pittsfield; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog,
:"Brandy". He was pre-deceased by a brother, Larry Cobb, who died in 1993.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Daniel Francis Cobb will be held Saturday, October 20,
At 11:00 a.m., at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Cobb may be made to Mrs. Elizabeth Cobb to help defray final expenses. The DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
