Obituary for Constance Zena Eggleston
Constance Z. Eggleston, 71, of Pittsfield, passed away September 27, 2022 at Hillcrest Commons.
Born in Pittsfield on August 12, 1951 to the late Edward and Mary Gainakis Arms, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Constance married Bruce A. Eggleston on December 27, 1980. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing BINGO, going to tag sales, and collected dolls and antiques. Mrs. Eggleston was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Eggleston of Pittsfield. Four sons, Peter Barnes of Springfield, IL, William Eggleston of Pittsfield, MA, Christian Eggleston of Pittsfield, MA, Stephen Eggleston of Niskayuna, NY. A daughter, Mary Sawyer and husband Robert of Dalton, MA. A brother, Peter Arms and wife Nancy of Pittsfield. Twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Florence Kordana.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter or to St. George Greek Orthodox Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
