Obituary for Colleen Marie Neff
Colleen Marie Neff, 54, of 102 Brayton Hill Terrace, North Adams, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Adams on January 27, 1961, daughter of Marie Blanchard Lannan and the late Francis Lannan, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. Continuing her education, she earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Berkshire Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
She possessed a keen interest in the computer sciences. She also enjoyed sewing and photography, and was an enthusiastic devotee of the Lord of the Rings.
Colleen leaves her mother, Marie Lannan, of Pittsfield; a daughter, Patrisha Neff of North
Adams; three brothers, Francis Lannan of Alabama, William Lannan of Pittsfield, and Christopher Vitale
of Colorado; and her close family friend, Jyl LeBeau.
She was pre-deceased by her "best friend forever", Lanara Norton.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
There are no services or calling hours planned at this time. Those who wish may make
memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society (Breast Cancer research) in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
