Obituary for Colleen Finelli
Colleen Jane Stone Finelli, 60, of Pittsfield, passed away August 3, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in Pittsfield on June 3, 1961 to the late Harry and Beatrice Maloney Stone.
She was educated in Lee and Lenox and was a 1980 graduate of Lee High School. She married Michael G. Finelli on July 9, 2005 at St. Joseph Church. Primarily a homemaker, at one time she was a nurse’s aide at Berkshire Hills North and also was employed by AdLib.
A communicant of St. Joseph Church, she enjoyed puzzle books, walking, and spending time with her family. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Lakers, Pittsburg Steelers and the Oakland Raiders.
Mrs. Finelli leaves behind her husband, Michael of Pittsfield; two brothers, Patrick M. Stone and wife Jeanette of Pittsfield, and Thomas H. Stone and wife Janet of East Nassau, NY; two nieces, Mackenzie and Lauren Stone; two Godsons, Matthew and Nathan Avery and two Goddaughters, Morgan and Madison Avery. She also leaves many cousins and her favorite dog, Bugsy.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held FRIDAY, August 13, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael Shershanovich, Pastor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Kidney Foundation or to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
