Obituary for Clarice L. Harrington

CLARICE LOU HARRINGTON, 76, of 979 West Street, Pittsfield, died
Tuesday, February 3, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Green Island, New York, February 14, 1932, the daughter of Earl and
Alice Myers Hourigan, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and the former
Berkshire Business College.
Mrs. Harrington had been a Medical Assistant to Dr. Ben Cole. She was employed by Berkshire Community College as an Administrative Assistant for 15 years. She had also worked for Michael's Mechanical Plumbing firm.
She was a communicant of St. Mark Church. She enjoyed painting, crafts, and was a member of a knitting club.
Her husband, Michael J. Harrington, whom she married April 19, 1953, died
December 2, 1999.
Mrs. Harrington is survived by three daughters, Michelle A. Lyon and her
husband, William, of Pittsfield, Beth A. Doyle and her husband, Gerald S. Doyle, Jr., of
Pittsfield, and Kathlene Scapin and her husband, Richard, of Pittsfield; nine grand-
children and two great grandchildren, Molly and Stephane Ferioli and their son, Matteo;
Mary Lyon and Luke Lyon; Michael and Marybeth Doyle and their son, Ayden; Megan
Doyle; Ryan Scapin, Dee Scapin, Jennifer Scapin, and Shaun Scapin.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for CLARICE LOU HARRINGTON, who died
Tuesday, February 3, will be Thursday, February 5, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Mark Church,
celebrated by Rev. John C. Salatino, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs.
Harrington may be made to The Jimmy Fund in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54
Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
