Obituary for Clara L. Reagan

CLARA L. REAGAN, 75, of 40 Thomas Road, Pittsfield, died Tuesday at her home
where she had lived since 1984. Born in Reading, Vermont, a daughter of the late Horace C. and Julia Mae Playful Hoisington, she was educated in Vermont schools. Mrs. Reagan had been a child care worker for many years and had worked with special needs adults, as well. She had also been employed as a factory worker and had worked at area motels. She retired in 1986. She enjoyed traveling and reading.She leaves her husband, Robert R. Reagan of Pittsfield, whom she married in November 1982, at the Church on the Hill in Lenox. Besides her husband, Mrs. Reagan is survived by three sons, Richard Grandbois of
Pittsfield, Robert Grandbois of Pittsfield, and Robert A. "Robbie" Grandbois of the State of Arkansas; two daughters, Sandra Streeter of the State of Florida, and Paul Jean Grandbois also of the State of Florida; a brother,
Roy Hoisington of Hawthorne, Florida; four sisters, Bernie Sakowski of Pittsfield, Helen M. Annis of Pittsfield, Madeline I. Nutting of White River, Vermont, and Hilda L. Fitzpatrick of Williamstown; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for CLARA LUCILLE REAGAN, 75, of Pittsfield who died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 will be Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 6, at 10:00 a.m., at Pittsfield Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Valerie Roberts-Tober, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Lenox. Those wishing to attend may meet inside the cemetery gates at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Reagan may be made to UNICO (Make-A-Wish Foundation) in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. Mrs. Reagan was pre-deceased by four brothers and four sisters.
