Obituary for Christine Ann "Chrissy" Craighead

Christine Ann Craighead (Chrissy), born on September 14, 1965, age 50, passed away on
September 6, 2016, after a year long battle with cancer.
Chris was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybis Syndrome at birth. She was educated through the Pittsfield Public Schools and resided at home until entering a group home on Robert Street, where she resided for 11 years. For the past 21 years, she was an enthusiastic and loyal worker at Blue Q in Pittsfield.
Chrissy's special loves included participating in Special Olympics, bowling, having her
nails manicured and wearing crazy socks.
Chrissy possessed a loving nature and outgoing personality, which made her an instant
friend to everyone. Once met, Chrissy was never forgotten.
Chrissy was pre-deceased by her mother Carol Ann. She is survived by her father Doug,
her brother Ian, Ian's partner Becky, and two nieces Brittany and Halle.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Robert Street and to the caring staff at Hospice who made Chrissy's fight over the last year easier.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral arrangements will be private and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made in Chrissy's name to BCARC or to HospiceCare in The Berkshires, both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
