Obituary for Cheryl A. Nutbrown

Cheryl A. Nutbrown, 55, of 86 Judith Drive passed away at home on Saturday morning. Born on August 23, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, she is the daughter of Joan Ferris Clemons of Pittsfield and the late Charles L. Clemons. A longtime Dalton resident, she had also resided in Cheshire at one time. Cheryl was educated in Texas schools where she graduated from high school in 1979. She had also attended school at Gateway Regional High School. She was employed for over twenty years at the Price Chopper Supermarket in Pittsfield as a clerk before retiring due to ill health. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed going to the beach, the casino and trying out new gadgets for her kitchen. Besides her mother of Pittsfield, she leaves her husband; Ronald G. Nutbrown of Dalton whom she married on August 23, 1980 in Pittsfield. A son; Patrick M. Nutbrown and his wife Ashley of Dalton. Her sister; Pamela R. Wojtkowski and her husband Andrew of Hancock, MA. A brother; Wayne Clemons of Pittsfield. Two step-brothers; William Hathaway and his wife Karen of Huntington, MA and Christopher Hathaway of Pittsfield. Two step-sisters; Lori Towsley and her husband Kenneth of Palmer, MA and Marianne Patriquin and her husband Richard of Pittsfield. She also leaves her beloved dog "Snowball".

FUNERALNOTICE: Funeral services for Cheryl A. Nutbrown, 55, of Dalton who passed away October 15, 2016 will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME in PITTSFIELD. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to the Denise Kaley Fund for Berkshire County Women with Cancer in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
