Obituary for Cheryl Ann Gunn

On Sunday, June 21, 2021, Cheryl Gunn, loving mother of four children, passed away at 62 after battling for many years with Goodpasture Syndrome.

Cheryl was born on October 24, 1959, in Bristol Ct. to Joan Muto and Arthur Lee Holmes. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years with Berkshire Health Systems. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and was the Night Shift House Director at Fairview Hospital. Cheryl loved her work as a nurse and helped so many in need.

Cheryl's biggest passion was spoiling her grandchildren. She loved action-packed movies, painting, gardening, and dancing around her home to music. She had the most infectious laughter.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother Joan, father Arthur, and brother Michael Rauls. She is survived by her four children, Tyrone Price (his wife Kendra), Tonda Brady (her husband Kevin), Cheryl Pigott (her husband Dan), Clay Gunn (his longtime partner Sabrina), her grandchildren, Tyra and Myia Price, Daniel and Tessa Pigott, and Georgia Brady, her brothers Arthur Holmes, Banning Rauls, and sisters Dawn and Tracey Rauls, former spouse Clarence Gunn, and several nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201, from 2 pm until 5 pm. There will be a service at 5:15 pm for her close friends and family.
