Obituary for Cherie A. Grandbois

Cherie A. Grandbois, 36, of 218 First Street, Pittsfield, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Berkshire
Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on September 9, 1977, the daughter of Michael A. Malenfant and the late Delia
A. Dewey, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Cherie was a homemaker. Her daughter, Elexis, was the love of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
She was fond of animals and enjoyed shopping.
Cherie is survived by her father, Michael A. Malenfant, of Pittsfield; her daughter, Elexis L.
Ferrari, of Pittsfield; two brothers, Michael A. Grandbois of Pittsfield and Kevin A. Grandbois and
his wife, Rebecca, of Silver Spring, Maryland; and her paternal grandfather, Richard Grandbois of
Housatonic.
She was pre-deceased by her mother, Delia A. Dewey.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
A memorial service for Cherie A. Grandbois will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 1:00 p.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME conducted by the Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich. Calling hours will precede
the service beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family to help defray final expenses in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
