Obituary for Charlotte Marie Kelly

Charlotte Marie Kelly, 95, formerly of 1201 Tyler Street and of Providence Court, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, June 4, at Webster Manor in Webster, Massachusetts, where she had resided the past three years.
Born in Washington, D.C., on September 20, 1917, a daughter of Alexander H.
and Cecilia Robert Belisle, she was a 1936 graduate of McKinley High School in
Washington.
Mrs. Kelly was employed by General Electric Company as a Data Processor and
Computer Operator. She retired on January 1, 1978, with 33 years and 8 months service.
Prior to G.E., she had worked at Crane & Company from 1937 to 1940.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She had been a communicant of the former St. Mary the Morning Star Church.
She was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century and Pensioners Clubs.
She was an accomplished seamstress who also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and
bingo.
Her husband, William James Kelly, whom she married October 1, 1940, in St. Mary the Morning Star Church, died August 24, 1957.
Mrs. Kelly is survived by a niece, Mary Elizabeth LaChance and her husband,
Paul, of Dudley, Mass., with whom she made her home, a nephew, Donald Fitzgerald, and his wife, Diane, of Florida; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Alexander H. Belisle, Jr., a sister, Jeannette C.
Fitzgerald, and her stepmother, Florence Cote Belisle.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Charlotte M. Kelly will be held Friday, June 7, with a Liturgy
of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m., at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 11:30 to 12:15 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
Marian Fathers in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
