Obituary for Charlotte Jane Gerwaski

Charlotte Jane Gerwaski, 79, formerly of Pittsfield-Lenox Road, died Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Laurel Lake Center in Lee.
Born in Pittsfield on August 3, 1936, a daughter of George and Beatrice Francoeur Weed, she attended Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Gerwaski was a homemaker. She was also a self-employed art teacher.
She enjoyed painting, crafts and ceramics, and going to fairs.
Her husband, Roger F. Gerwaski, whom she married October 17, 1953, died April
29, 2010.
Mrs. Gerwaski is survived by a brother, Robert T. Weed, and his wife, Debra, of
Humble, Texas; three daughters, Sherry Kowalczyk, Marcia Taylor of Pittsfield, and Kathy
Gerwaski of Lenox; and a son of Roger Gerwaski of Austerlitz, New York; as well as six
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Ellen Dean, a, Skip, her daughter, Kelly Gerwaski, and sons, Mark Gerwaski and Michael Gerwaski.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
A graveside service for Charlotte Jane Gerwaski will be held Wednesday, September
30, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Joseph's Cemetery (Section 14) with Rev. William D. Furey officiating.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.
