Obituary for Charles Henry Revord

Charles Henry Revord, 81, of 55 Ventura Avenue, Pittsfield, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015,
at Hillcrest Commons.
Born in Pittsfield on August 21, 1934, the son of Charles and Mary Casino Revord, he was a
graduate of Pittsfield schools.
A carpenter by trade, Mr. Revord was a 60-year member of Carpenters Local 444 and 260 and served as the business representative for sixteen years. In 1983, he was named Labor Man of the Year.
Mr. Revord was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and had been a communicant of the
former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
He had served on the Board of Directors of BCL Credit Union, the Massachusetts State Carpenters Training Program, and the YMCA, and was a former member of the Berkshire Community
Action Council and the Berkshire County Deputy Sheriff's Association.
Mr. Revord leaves his wife of 61 years, the former Joan R. Litchfield, whom he married in
1954. He is also survived by two sons, Charles W. Revord and his wife, Margie, of Holyoke, and
Thomas A. Revord of Lanesborough; a daughter, Pamela J. Revord of Edgewood, Maryland; five grandchildren, Mathew Revord, Derek Revord, Jeffrey Quetti, Jenna Revord, and Benjamin Revord;
four great grandchildren, Colton Revord, Kennedy Revord, Luna Revord, and Mila Revord; his
sisters- and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Francis Kelly and Nancy Bean and Andy Hagadorn; and his
beloved cat, Anna.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Charles Henry Revord will be held Monday, November 9, with a Liturgy
of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church celebrated by Rev. Peter M. Naranjo, II.,
Parochial Vicar. At his request, there are no calling hours. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or to Berkshire
Humane Society both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
