Obituary for Cecelia C. Haden

CECELIA CHERYL HADEN, 57, of 38 Euclid Avenue, Pittsfield, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at U-Mass Medical Center in Worcester.
Born in New Rochelle, New York, on November 24, 1953, the daughter of
Dorothy McKelvey Haden and the late Lloyd L. Haden, she was a 1971 graduate of Mt.
Vernon High School and was a graduate of dental hygienist school and beautician school
in Westchester, New York.
Miss Haden was most recently employed as a certified Health Care Assistant
at Hillcrest Commons where she worked four years. Prior to that, she had been a professional hairdresser and make-up artist in Westchester, New York for many years.
She enjoyed making art collages, interior decorating, shopping, bowling, and
dancing. Besides her mother of New Rochelle, New York, she is survived by a son, Tyrone L. Haden of The Bronx, a sister, Denise A. Haden of Atlanta, Georgia; a brother, Stuart V. Haden and his wife, Minnette, of The Bronx; two grandchildren, Nijah and Tyrone;
three nephews, two nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Willie Luckey, Jessie Griffin, and Gayzelle Kelly, and Valerie.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for CECELIA CHERYL HADEN will be held Thursday, April 7, at 1:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Willard H. Durant, Pastor Emeritus of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, officiating. Burial will be at a later
date in Rose Hill Cemetery in New York. There are no calling hours.
