Obituary for Cathy J. Torres
Cathy Jean Torres, 69 of Pittsfield, passed away October 28, 2021 at her home.
Born in Pittsfield on March 4, 1952 to John U. and Dorothy M. Digweed Adams, she was educated in Dalton Schools.
Mrs. Torres was a CNA for many years at Mt. Greylock Nursing Home and Curtis Manor in Dalton.
She enjoyed feeding the critters, gardening, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Torres is survived by her children, Kristin J. Blake of Pittsfield, Jeffrey B. Torres of Pittsfield, Travis J. Torres of Pittsfield, Arthur R. Torres, Jr., of Shirley, MA; sister, Barbara R. Scott and husband Allen of Pittsfield; brothers, Jack Adams, Jr., of Hinsdale, David Adams and wife Barbara of Dalton, and Kenneth Adams of Hinsdale. Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Flo and DeeDee.
Honoring Cathy's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Shelter in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201
