Obituary for Catherine Stella Lucier

Catherine Stella Lucier, 48, of 187 Lakeway Drive, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on September 28, 1967, a daughter of Warren M. and Joan E.
Liebenow Lucier, she was a 1985 graduate of Taconic High School and a graduate of Berkshire
Community College.
At the time of her death, Ms. Lucier was manager of Bill's Top of the Hill. Prior to that,
she was employed as a family advocate for Berkshire County Head Start and the Pittsfield Public Schools.
Ms. Lucier was a member of First Baptist Church.
She enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to the ocean, as well Lake George car shows and motorcycle riding. Her best times were with spent with her family, especially her grandson.
Ms. Lucier is survived by her son, Brian A. Sheltry, of Pittsfield; a brother, Warren M. Lucier, Jr., and his wife, Tarah, of Pittsfield; her life partner, Dan Wood of Pittsfield; a sister, Barbara A. Douglass of Dalton; and her grandson, Devon Sheltry; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Calling hours for Catherine Stella Lucier will be held (today), Friday, October 2, from 4:00
to 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. Funeral services are private. In lieu of
flowers, contributions in memory of Ms. Lucier may be made to the American Cancer Society in
care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
