Obituary for Catherine R. Durocher (Schellinger,)
Catherine R. Durocher, 92, formerly of Plattekill, New York, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Craneville Place of Dalton (Mass.) where she had resided the past eight years.
Born in Springs East Hampton, New York, a daughter of Wilma and Caroline Miller Schellinger, she was educated in New York state schools and was a graduate of nursing school.
Mrs. Durocher was a homemaker, but had also worked as a nurse.
Her husband, Joseph D. Durocher, died in 1979.
Mrs. Durocher is survived by a daughter, Susan Durocher, a son, Daniel Durocher, and a
Granddaughter, Jennifer Castrello, all of Plattekill; and two sisters, Mary Schellinger and Jane Zaderecki, both of Hinsdale, Mass. She was pre-deceased by grandson, Charles J.
Castrello, of Plattekill.
Funeral services for Mrs. Durocher will be held at a later date in Plattekill. There are no calling hours. The DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME of Dalton, Mass., was in charge of arrangements.
