Obituary for Casimer S. Jagiello Jr.

Casimer S. Jagiello, Jr., 62 of 57 Winter Street, Pittsfield, formerly of Dalton
and Adams, died Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Adams on December 29, 1950, a son of the late Casimer S. Jagiello, Sr., and Gladey Zoltek Jagiello, he was educated in Adams schools and was a 1969 graduate of Adams High School.
A Viet Nam War era veteran, he served as a Sergeant with the Untied States Army National Guard from June 11, 1969 until retiring on September 21, 1992.
At the time of his death, Mr. Jagiello was a machinist for Modern Mold & Tool,
Inc., where he had been employed since 1988. Prior to that, he worked for General
Electric Company.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox, and he also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and hunting.
Mr. Jagiello is survived by a daughter, Amy L. Jagiello, and her companion,
Jason, of Pittsfield; a son, Kevin R. Jagiello, of Dalton; a brother, Raymond Jagiello of
Cheshire; two sisters, Frances Bergeron of Pepperell, and Donna Mulcahy and her
husband, Chuck, of Clarksburg; and three granddaughters, Adrianna, Alyssa, and
Gabriella; as well his former wife, Donna Jagiello Sawtelle, of Dalton, and many
nieces, nephews, and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services, with military honors, will be held Wednesday, February 6, at 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in PITTSFIELD. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery at Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Soldier On in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
