Obituary for Carolyn E. Cimini

CAROLYN E. "CONNIE" CIMINI, 70, of Columbia Arms, died Tuesday,
March 25, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, June 11, 1937, a daughter of William J. and Myrtle Philips
Schaefer, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Cimini had also worked as a cook and waitress
at area restaurants, and had been a foster parent for many years.
She was an avid bingo player who also enjoyed knitting and baking, and being
with her family and grandchildren.
She leaves her husband, Louis J. Cimini, whom she married July 2, 1963.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Cimini leaves six daughters, Sharon A. Ciepiela of
Lanesborough, Rosa-Lee Parker of Pittsfield, Barbara L. Gauvin of Pittsfield, Tawnya J.
Kennedy of Lanesborough, Brenda L. Tucker of Pittsfield, and Dawne C.Cimini of
Lanesborough; a brother, George H. "Buddy" Schaefer of Missouri; two sisters, Sheila
M. Theriot of Texas and Sandra M. Valenti of Texas; l5 grandchildren and 26 great
grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, William E. Pierce, and a daughter, Carol
E. Pierce, as well as a brother, William J. Schaefer, Jr.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for CAROLYN E. "CONNIE" CIMINI will be held
Monday, March 31, at 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. William D.
Furey, Pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel, officiating. There are no calling hours. In
lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Cimini may be made to HospiceCare
in the Berkshires in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
