Obituary for Caroline E. Russo Cullett

Caroline E. Russo Cullett, 78, of 50 Audrey Drive, Dalton, MA died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Craneville Place in Dalton where she has resided for the past two years.
Born on September 19, 1937 in Pittsfield a daughter of the late Frank and Alice Winnard Russo. She attended schools in Pittsfield and was a 1955 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She had been employed as a secretary for the General Electric Company in the Ordnance Department for 20 years retiring in 1995. She also at onetime worked at First Agricultural Bank, Berkshire Gas Company and also as a secretary at Nessacus Middle School. She was a communicant of Saint Agnes Church; she enjoyed playing golf with golfing leagues at the GEAA and Skyline Country Club. She also enjoyed singing and dancing as well as cooking. Her greatest joy in her life was her children and grandchildren.
She leaves two daughters, Michele G. Kaplan and her husband Christopher of Sutton, MA and Nicole M. Hoosick and her husband Scott of Pittsfield. A son, Michael D. Cullett and his wife Amy of Dalton. A brother, Joseph P. "Joey" Russo of Satellite Beach, Florida. A sister, Sandra Drumm of Lenox, MA. Her five adored grandchildren, Abigail, Ashley and Matthew Kaplan and Emily and Michael Cullett, Jr. Her grand dogs, Bucca and Bella. She was predeceased by a son Matthew P. Cullett in 1972, a brother in law, Earl Drumm and by her former husband, Paul L. Cullett, Jr.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Caroline will be held Thursday, October 15, 2015 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Agnes Church in Dalton, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St. Dalton, MA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials in her memory be made to Alzheimer's Disease or to the Berkshire Humane Society both in care of the funeral home.
