Obituary for Carol Jean White
Carol Jean White, 88, of Pittsfield, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 1, 2022.
Born in Pittsfield on March 13, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Claire Lemoine Gordon. Carol was educated in Pittsfield public schools.
She married Leslie Glenn White, Jr., on April 22, 1966. He predeceased her on June 25, 2013.
Mrs. White was employed by Berkshire Life in the filing and microfische department.
She loved spending time with her family, shopping, going to the casino and out to dinner, and their ten happy years living in Florida when they retired.
Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Jeffrey L. White of Pittsfield, Michael J. Flaherty and wife Michelle of Pittsfield, Stephen P. Flaherty and wife Christine of Pittsfield; daughters, Kathleen Filiault and husband Mark of Pittsfield. Two grandchildren, Kelly Ann Flaherty and Jarred Flaherty and wife Melissa. As well as her brother, Dustin Gordon and wife Sue of California. She was predeceased by her siblings, Glenn, Lester, Douglas, Janice and Lois.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held FRIDAY, April 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
