Obituary for Carol Maria Bradley

Carol Maria Bradley, age 78, of Pittsfield, MA passed away peacefully Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center with her loved ones by her side.
She was born in Albany, NY on November 12, 1942, the daughter of the late Irving Smith and Oneida Brown. She was the youngest of nine children.
Carol dedicated 50 years of her life as a Berkshire County Head Start Teacher, where her passion for the education and well being of all her Head Start children was the highlight of her life! She fondly remembered every child’s name that went through her classroom and thoroughly enjoyed her years there. Carol also was a bartender and friend to many at the Polish Falcons Club for 45 years.
Carol leaves behind her two sons, Scott Bradley and companion Kristen Wright, and Eliott Bradley and wife Miyong; her daughter, Christine Bradley; her sisters, Louise Winkfield and Barbara Hanson; her grandchildren, Katie, Josh, Alicia, Eliott, Eric, Corey, Brittany and Marlee. She was predeceased by her daughter, Felicia Bradley Condon, her siblings, Irving Jr., Harold, Howard, Glenn, Edward, Ronald and the absolute love of her live, Donald “Mac” McWhinnie.
She also leaves behind many lifelong friends at the Luau Hale and her second family at the Polish Falcons.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be held, THURSDAY, June 10, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, with a prayer service given by Rev. Peter A. Gregory at 2 p.m. Following the service, we invite all of Carol’s friends and family to the Polish Falcons Club on Belair Avenue for a Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to “Friends of Renal Dialysis” in care of the funeral home.
