Obituary for Carol A. Bennett
Carol A. Bennett, 69, of 379 North Street, Capitol Square Apartments, died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born on August 26, 1944 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Doris Maloney Mathieu. A longtime Pittsfield resident, she was educated in Pittsfield schools. A homemaker, she had also worked for several years as a hairdresser.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She leaves her daughter; Dawn M. Perreault of East Greenbush, NY. Three brothers; Charles Mathieu and his wife Loretta of San Francisco, CA, Ronald Mathieu and his wife June of Webster, NY and Kenneth Mathieu of San Diego, CA. She also leaves her six grandchildren; Marc Perreault Jr., Paulina Perreault, and Elizabeth, Hannah, Joseph and Mathieu Bachand. She also leaves her son-in-law; James Bachand of Georgetown, MA. She was predeceased by a daughter; Doris Bachand who died August 10, 2005 and by her sister; the late Shirley Mathieu.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Carol A. Bennett who died April 28, 2014
will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in memory of Carol may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Fund in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201 which is handling arrangements.
