Condolence From: A friend Mar 14, 2017
Condolence: Awwwwww. I had the best dream about you, last night!!! You were happy, you were healthy, you looked great, you sounded great, you were funny, you were kind, you were around your friends and you were getting ready to ride your bike! When I was driving away, you were standing by a beautifully crafted cabin in the woods, with a big smile on your face, waving good-bye. It makes me happy, to know that you're still happy! Love you, Candy Man!

Condolence: Kevin, Michael,Melanie & Family, Today I learned of Carey's passing and I amm deeply shocked and saddened. I'm sure he suffered bravely with his ALS disease. I always enjoyed being with Carey and he always seemed happy. I once did tthe Josh Billings event with him and played many softball games with him too. Who can forget making "pro-wretling" films with him in his backyard in Cheshire, Ma? My condolences for your loss. Bob Connors Canaan, NY

Condolence: As a child on Pontoosuc Lake, we were all amazed by Carey as the best water skier ever. No one could cut a spray like he did and his shallow water starts were just an amazement to watch. We strove to ski like him.

Condolence: My first meeting with Carey was at the Crowne Plaza construction site back in the 60s our paths crossed many times doing projects in Berkshire County and in Vermont, where he was superintendent and one of the best craftsman I've ever work with. I also spent many enjoyable hours skiing with Carey at Jiminy Peak, I know he has those skis pointed downhill... He's going to be missed. LAD
