Brooke Ashlee O'Donnell, 23 years old, passed away on November 18, 2015 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. She died of complications from "GoodPasture Syndrome", which she was diagnosed with in May of 2014. She was surrounded by her Loving family throughout her hospital stay. Brooke was born on December 27, 1991, and raised in Pittsfield, Ma. She is the daughter of Suzanne Kozikowski and William O'Donnell.
She attended St. Mark's School and graduated from St. Joseph's High School. She later received her Associates degree from Hillsborough Community College in Florida. She was studying to become an equine veterinarian. Growing up she loved all equestrian activities, she started riding when she was 8 years old, and never stopped. She also studied ballet, jazz piano and enjoyed playing tennis. She loved going for walks in the woods. A favorite spot was Pleasant Valley in Lenox. During her younger years she sang in the St. Stevens Choir with her sisters, and then went on to volunteer at the soup kitchens during high school. Brooke was an amazing, beautiful, smart and exceptionally kind young woman. She always shared her infectious smile with everyone she met.
Besides her parents; Brooke leaves sisters; Brittany, Shanelle and Beth, brother; Bill O'Donnell, husband of Suzanne, Frank Kozikowski, close family friend Lucy Sacco, and Joseph Kennedy, fiancée of Brittany. She also leaves paternal grandparents Thomas and Mildred O'Donnell and maternal grandparents Judy and Frank Tallett. Her aunts; Peggy and Joanne O'Donnell and Joan Grise'. Her Uncles; Bruce and Brian O'Donnell and Kevin Grise'. She also leaves her cousins Jared Grise', Jessica Grise', Holly Szklarz ,Kelly O'Donnell, and Jared O'Donnell, Charlie and Patrick O'Donnell. Last, but not least, her two new nephews Colton and Cooper Kennedy.

Funeral Notice: Calling hours for Brooke Ashlee O'Donnell who died on November 18th will be held on Wednesday November 25th, from 10a.m. to 11a.m. at the church, a funeral service will follow at 11a.m. at St. Stephen's Church in Pittsfield, Ma. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held December 27th, details to follow. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Brooke's memory may be sent to: "Walkin N Circles" Horse rescue farm in New Mexico, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
