Obituary for Brian T. "Bigsy" Pratt

Brian T. "Bigsy" Pratt, 49, of 146 Parkside Avenue, Pittsfield, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on December 1, 1964, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1982 graduate of Taconic High School.
At the time of his death, Mr. Pratt was a 13-year employee of Price Chopper Super Markets, the last five of which he was the Food Court Manager at its Lenox store. Prior to that, he was employed at The Berkshire Eagle for ten years.
Mr. Pratt enjoyed the time he spent with his daughter. With sensitivity for how fragile life
can be, he was an organ donor.
He was an avid New York Yankees fan who also enjoyed traveling.
Mr. Pratt leaves his daughter, Allyson A. Pratt, of Pittsfield; his longtime companion, Regina
M. DiLego of Berkshire; a brother, Craig J. Pratt of North Adams; two sisters, Alice M. Trumbull and
her partner, Don Malumphy, of South Lee, and Geri L. Howell and her husband, Kevin, of Winter
Park, Fla.; his mother, Geraldine M. Belisle of North Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his father, Thomas J. Pratt.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Brian Thomas Pratt will be held Thursday, May 22, at 9:15 a.m. from DERY
FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moments House in care
of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
