Obituary for Bibiane Rozon Bennett

Bibiane Rozon Bennett, 95, formerly of Kitchen Brook Trailer Park, Cheshire,
died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Mount Greylock Extended Care in Pittsfield.
Born in Pendleton, Ontario, Canada, on December 4, 1917, a daughter of
Joseph and Josephine Farrell Rozon, her family came to the Untied States in 1923, and
settled in Cheshire. She was educated in Cheshire and Adams schools and was a
1937 graduate of Adams High School.
Mrs. Bennett was employed as an assembler for General Electric Company for
Twenty years retiring in 1981.
She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire.
She enjoyed dancing.
Her husband, Warren Bennett, whom she married May 13, 1939, died July
13, 1981.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by a sister, Gabrielle Bevan of Dalton, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews.
She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Andrew, Arthur, Orrel, and Thomas, and
by four sisters, Elaine Rozon, Virginia O'Donnell, Theresa Messenger, and Anita Nelson.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Bibiane Rozon Bennett will be held Wednesday, February 13, at 9:00 a.m. from DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian
Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church celebrated by Rev. David R.
Raymond, Pastor. Burial will be in the Spring in Cheshire Cemetery. There are no
calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Bennett may be made
to HospiceCare in The Berkshires or to the Cheshire Fire Department both in care of
DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire.
