Obituary for Beverly Myers
Beverly Myers, 74, of Pittsfield, passed away February 26, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on February 26, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Dorothy Chase Maslanka.
She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and married the late David R. Myers on June 12, 1981. He predeceased her on April 3, 2020.
Mrs. Myers worked as an EKG technician for Berkshire Medical Center for many years.
Beverly enjoyed going to the beach on Cape Cod. She also was an animal lover and rescuer. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her children, Kati Bieg and husband David of Chicopee, MA, and Danielle Bishop and husband Jonathan of Dalton, and Joseph A. Scalise III of Pittsfield. Two sisters, Barbara Ferrarin of Pittsfield and Lorraine Maslanka of Canaan, NY. As well as four beloved grandchildren, Dylan, Natalie, Jacob and Jenna.
Per her wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
