Obituary for Beverly Ann Lewis

Beverly Ann Lewis, formerly of Robinson Road, Hinsdale died Sunday July 27, 2014 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Pittsfield on October 29, 1936 the daughter of the late Edgerton W. and Alice R. Krieger Pettibone. She was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Lewis was employed in Human Services as a healthcare worker; she had worked in the Head Start Program and had worked at several nursing homes and did child care. She was a member of the Becket Federated Church. She enjoyed the Becket Praise Team, camping, being with her family and the family dogs.
Mrs. Lewis married Arthur H. Lewis, Sr., he died on October 25, 1998.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her five sons: Steven E. Lewis (and Cheryl) of Adams, Arthur H. Lewis, Jr, of Hinsdale, David W. Lewis of Ashley Falls, Kevin Lewis and his companion Janine Cornellier of Cheshire. And Paul A. Lewis of Hinsdale; two daughters: Laurel L. Burgwardt (and Mark) of Becket, and Karen A. Civello (and James) of Southwick, MA; four sisters and one brother: Gloria Foley of Vero Beach, FL, Lois Scalise (and James) of Pittsfield, Dorothy Aslan (and George) of Pittsfield, David Lester of Cheshire, and Deborah Toromino (and Peter) of North Adams; eleven grandchildren: Steven Lewis, Tanya Whitney, Kimberly Briggs, Stephanie Lewis, Nicholas and Keslie Lewis, Brad and Bryan Burgwardt, and Michael, James and Ashley Civello; several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sons: Arthur Lewis and William Lewis.

FUNERAL NOTICE
Funeral services for Beverly Ann Lewis will be WEDNESDAY, JULY 30. 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Becket Federated Church with Rev. Kevin Smail, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Street Cemetery in Hinsdale. The family will receive guests at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Laurel L. Burgwardt to be used toward monument expenses. The DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton, is in charge of arrangements.
