Obituary for Beverly A. Krause

Beverly Alice Krause, 79, of 500 South Street, Dalton, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on August 13, 1937, the daughter of Arthur F. and Helen G. Doyle
Brooks, she was a graduate of the former Dalton High School.
For twenty years, Mrs. Krause worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was first
employed by General Electric Company and later at the First Agricultural National Bank.
She cherished times spent with her children. She had a great love for reading. She also enjoyed gardening and carpentry.
Her husband, Bernard J. Krause, died in 2011.
Mrs. Krause is survived by three daughters, Nancy Hathaway of Hinsdale, Jennifer Krause and her husband, Tony, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, and Kate Krause and her boyfriend, Chip McCue, of Dalton; a brother, Richard Brooks of Dalton; sister-in-law, Nancy Brooks; her niece, Lynn Wise and her husband, Ed, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and her great
nephew, Brian Wise.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Beverly A. Krause will be held Saturday, October 1, at 9:30 a.m., at
the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton with Rev. William D. Furey officiating. Burial will
follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at
9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Pittsfield.
