Obituary for Beverley Ann Ellsworth
Beverley Ann Ellsworth, 92 1/2 of Pittsfield, passed away March 17, 2023 at Hillcrest Commons.
Born in Pittsfield on August 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. Howard Sr., and Margaret Novak Howard.
Beverley was educated in Pittsfield schools. She married Donald K. Ellsworth, Sr., on April 17, 1954. He predeceased her on April 25, 2002.
Mrs. Ellsworth was a sales clerk at Big Y for 5 years and had been a receptionist at the Boys and Girls Club for 2 years, retiring in 1999.
A communicant of St. Charles Church, she enjoyed home decorating, family gatherings and her cats, Jennifer and Autumn.
Mrs. Ellsworth is survived by her four sons, David K. Ellsworth of Pittsfield, Douglas K. Ellsworth of Pittsfield and Darrell K. Ellsworth of Adams. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Donald K. Ellsworth, Jr., six brothers and five sisters.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by Rev. Daniel Cymer. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Berkshire Humane Society in care of Dery Funeral Home.
