Obituary for Bernadette M. Galli

BERNADETTE MARIE GALLI, 79, of 15 Williamsburg Terrace, died Friday, March 6, at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since August 2008.
Born in Easthampton, Massachusetts, June 27, 1929, a daughter of Joseph and
Maude Perrea Longtin, she was a 1947 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Galli was employed by Sears, Roebuck & Company where she was a sales clerk in the Dress Department. She retired in 1991 with twenty one years service.
She had previously worked for the former England Brothers and M.J. Solomon
stores. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and had been a communicant of
the former St. Francis Xavier Church.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, house plants, and playing bingo.
She leaves her husband, Joseph P. Galli, whom she married in the former Notre Dame Church on October 15, 1949.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Galli leaves a son, Glen P. Galli and his wife, Darlene,
of Balston Lake, New York; two daughters, Deborah A. Galli Boivin of Northampton
and Kris M. Acker and her husband, Edward, of Keene, New Hampshire; her sister,
Theresa E. Card of Pittsfield; and two grandchildren, Elijah J. Boivin and Paris R.
Boivin.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for BERNADETTE MARIE GALLI, who died Friday, March
6, will be private. There are no calling hours. The omission of flowers is requested.
If friends desire, contributions in memory of Mrs. Galli may be made to Berkshire
Humane Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
