Augustus J. Schnopp, III., 60, of Dalton, MA, passed away January 24, 2022 at Dana-Farber Cancer Center in Boston. He was born in Pittsfield, MA on February 26, 1961 to Augustus J. and Joanna Demeo Schnopp.
A.J. was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School and received his MBA from Northeastern University. Mr. Schnopp was a self-employed interior designer. He loved tennis, golf, and travel. He especially enjoyed spending time at his home in Florida.
He is survived by his spouse, Donald Rossignol of Florida; his parents, Augustus and Joanna Schnopp of Dalton; sister, Karen Schmidt and husband Bill Drosehn of Dalton; his brothers, Greg Schnopp and wife Cathy of Dalton, Mark Schnopp and wife Cecilia of Pittsfield, Eric Schnopp and wife Candice of Dalton and Andrew Schnopp and wife Michelle of Pittsfield; Many living nieces, nephews, and friends.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, celebrated by Rev. Christopher Malatesta, Pastor. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Berkshire Medical Center Cancer Center, in care of Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 E. Main St. Dalton, MA 01226.
