Obituary for Arthur A. Trasatti

ARTHUR A. TRASATTI, 78, of 3500 Galt Ocean Drive, Fort Lauderdale,
Florida, formerly of Pittsfield, died Tuesday, April 29, at Holy Cross Hospital in
Fort Lauderdale.
Born in Pittsfield, November 25, 1929, a son of Louis and Mary Virgilio
Trasatti, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High
School.He served in the Korean War.
Mr. Trasatti owned the Skyline Country Club in Lanesborough for eighteen
years until 1984. He was President of Florida Textile Services in Pompano Beach for twenty
two years. He was a member of Rotary International, the Italian-American Club, and
numerous other organizations.
Mr. Trasatti was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, the former Marion Bailey, whom he married June 25, 1955. He is survived by his son, Gary A. Trasatti and his wife, Danabeth Zambelli
Trasatti of Deerfield Beach, Florida; a sister, Peggy Oakes of Pittsfield; and his
companion, Margaret Pace, of Fort Lauderdale.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for ARTHUR A. TRASATTI, who died Tuesday, April 29, will be Wednesday, May 7, at 9:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Charles Church, celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home In lieu of flowers, contributions
in memory of Mr. Trasatti may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
