Obituary for Antoinette Evelyn Pannozzo

ANTOINETTE EVELYN 'TONI' PANNOZZO, 93, of Sugar Hill, 45 Main Street, Dalton, died Thursday afternoon at Craneville Place of Dalton.
Born in Canano, Italy, June 2, 1914, the daughter of Sabatino and Eva DiLoreto DiVergillio, she came to the United States at the age of six months and became a citizen on April 16, 1959.
She attended local schools.
Mrs. Pannozzo was employed in the Envelope Department at Schaeffer Eaton
for eight years. She had also worked for General Electric Company in its Plastics
Division and at the former Neisner's Department Store.She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She enjoyed
cooking, walking, and travel.
Her first husband, Laurence B. DiMassimo, Sr., died January 23, 1964.
Her husband, Achillis Pannozzo, died August 31, 1968.Mrs. Pannozzo is survived by a son, Larry DiMassimo of Flowery, Georgia; four daughters, Dorothy VanKorb of Safety Harbor, Florida, Jean Lenihan of Pittsfield, Betty A. Scullary of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Diana Sullivan of Pittsfield; 2l grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great greatgrandchild. She was pre-deceased by a son, Vincent J. DiMassimo and a daughter, Pauline Lenihan.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for ANTOINETTE EVELYN 'TONI' PANNOZZO, who died Thursday, August 16, will be held Wednesday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, C.S.S., Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Pannozzo may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
