Obituary for Antoinette Rufo Marino Brown

Antoinette Rufo Marino Brown, 95, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away January 17, 2021 of natural causes at Craneville Place of Dalton, where she resided for the last five years.

Born in Syracuse, NY on March 24, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Camela DeSena Rufo. Antoinette was the last survivor of the ten Rufo children.

She married Hilton Brown in May 1989. He predeceased her in February 2003.

Mrs. Brown was primarily a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Assembly Church, where her father was a founder. She also was an accomplished seamstress.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Sprague of Dalton, and Louise Pichette of Hudson, NY; her grandchildren, Cary Giguere, Kala Gresser, and Raymond Pichette; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves her niece, Denise Whiteman, who was like a daughter to her.

She was predeceased by her nine siblings, Lucy, Sadie, Bessie, Rose, Joe, Napoleon, Jerry, Anthony and Daniel.

The family would like to thank the staff at Craneville Place for their compassionate care.
