Obituary for Anne Elizabeth Campbell
Anne Elizabeth Campbell, 98, of Melbourne Place, formerly of Salisbury Estates, died
Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on June 26, 1916, the daughter of Edward L. and Marie Comeau Campbell, she was a 1935 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Miss Campbell was employed by the former City Savings Bank. She began her career in the Life Insurance Department. She later served as Supervisor of Clerical Services. She retired in December 1978 with 29 years' service. She was a communicant of St. Mark Church and a member of the Ralph J. Froio Senior Center. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting, and painting. Miss Campbell is survived by her friend and caregiver, Carol M. Shea, of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Anne Elizabeth Campbell will be held Friday, May 1, 2015, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m., at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
