Obituary for Anna Rufo Mueller

Anna Boscardin Rufo Mueller, 80, of 47 Longfellow Ave., Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sharon, CT, on February 21, 1937, the daughter of the late Rose Boscardin, she was educated in local schools and was a 1954 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Anna was an executive assistant at the Red Cross for more than twenty years and was a lifelong member of Christian Assembly Church.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, dinning out, knitting and crocheting, crossword puzzles and searching for the perfect gifts for her beloved family.
Anna was best defined by her strong, unwavering faith and unconditional love. She was selfless, caring and compassionate and always put the needs of others first. These traits are Anna's legacy. She was cherished by family, friends, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred H. Mueller whom she married April 9, 2005, her daughters, Donna R. Ross and her husband James of Pittsfield, Paula J. Papa and her husband Jon of Pittsfield, her son Richard D. Rufo and his wife Karen of Pittsfield, and her three grandchildren, Brittany A. Daly of CT, Richard C. Rufo of Pittsfield, and Ellen M. Rufo of Pittsfield.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Lori A. Daly, who died September 30, 2008, her sister Sylvia Vickery and her first husband, Richard E. Rufo, who died November 23, 1993.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Anna Mueller will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The House of Prayer in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 BRADFORD STREET, PITTSFIELD, which is handling arrangements.
