Obituary for Anna C. Connors

ANNA C. CONNORS, 92, formerly of 49Ashley Street, Pittsfield, died Thursday, November 23, at Providence Care Center of Lenox.
Born in Pawlet, Vermont, November 14, 1914, a daughter of Michael G. and
Margaret McGrath Connors, she was a graduate of Granville (New York) High School
and the former Berkshire Business College.
Miss Connors was employed by General Electric Company as a secretary in the
Ordnance Systems Division. She retired in 1980 with 36 years service.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Wahconah Country Club. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and spending time with
family. Miss Connors is survived by two sisters, Alice Zecchin and Winsted, Connecticut,
and Helen Leslie of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for ANNA C. CONNORS, who died
Thursday, November 23, will be Saturday, December 9, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart
Church, celebrated by Rev. James K. Joyce, Pastor. Burial will be in Mount Carmel
Cemetery in Granville, New York. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers,
contributions in memory of Miss Connors may be made to Sacred Heart Church in care
of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
Miss Connors was pre-deceased by two brothers, John Connors and Joseph
Connors, and a sister, Mary Connors. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
