Obituary for Ann E. Rockwell

Ann Eleanor Rockwell, 95, formerly of Richmond, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at
Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox.
Born in Pittsfield on July 27, 1921, the daughter of Henry A. and Jeanette Avery Burke,
she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Rockwell was a legal secretary for more than forty years. During that time, she
worked for Atty. Silverman, Atty. Reder, Atty. Whalen, Atty. Donahue, and Atty. Spina. She
retired in 1981.
She had been a member of the Ralph J. Froio Senior Center.
She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles, and had a special place in her heart for animals.
Her husband, Charles F. Rockwell, whom she married October 13, 1947, died May 13,
1983.
Mrs. Rockwell is survived by a son, Charles B. Rockwell and his wife, Peggy, of Pittsfield;
a daughter, Lynn D. Fuselier, of Bristol, Connecticut; six grandchildren, Erin Fuselier and her
husband, Dave, Kevin Fuselier and his wife, Amber, Patrick Rockwell and his wife, Lesley,
Joshua Rockwell, Justin Ryan and his wife, Diana, and Jonathan Rockwell; and two great grand-
children, Samuel and Alexis.
She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Ruth, Jeanne, and Grace.
Mrs. Rockwell's family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Mount Carmel Care Center for the tender and compassionate care given to Mrs. Rockwell, as well as the kindness extended to her family.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Ann Eleanor Rockwell will be held Friday, October 21, at 12:00 Noon at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Deacon Robert R. Esposito officiating. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Center Cemetery, Richmond.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
