Obituary for Ann Mary Moore

Ann Mary Moore, 89, of Pittsfield died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Berkshire Place in Pittsfield where she has resided since November of 2013.
Born on September 9, 1924 in Pittsfield a daughter of the late Mike and Mary Sawick Slosky. She attended schools in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Moore was primarily a homemaker and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed, walking, gardening and reading as well as children and dogs. Ann was the wife of Joseph E. Moore whom she married June 1, 1946 at Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Church, he died March 7, 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene A. Galliher and her husband Patrick of Lanesboro, Ma. A son, Michael G. Moore of Stuart, Florida. Two sisters, Patricia Adams and Marion Loehr. Three grandchildren, Kerri Stanaway and her husband Kirk, Sean White and his wife Lisa and Wayne Moore. One Great Grandson. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers and a son Joseph Wayne Moore in 1969.

Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Ann M. Moore will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from the DERY FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by the Rev. James K. Joyce, pastor. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter or Hospice Care in the Berkshires both in care of Dery Funeral Home 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma 01201.
