Obituary for Angeline Chase
Angeline Chase died peacefully at home on January 9, 2013.
She was born in Pittsfield on November 14, 1916, the daughter of Bortolo
Bertelli and Annunciata Dainesi Bertelli.
After graduating from Adams High School she completed Berkshire Business College. Upon retiring from General Electric, she pursued her love of gardening and shared her time with family and friends.
As a lifelong resident of Berkshire Village, she was an active member of the
Chapel of North American Martyrs.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ernest G. Chase, her stepson, Lawrence
Chase, and her sister, Elizabeth Tatro.
She leaves a son and daughter, Ernest and Elizabeth Chase; a daughter-in-law, Norma Chase; her granddaughters, Marsha Vinette and Karen Rollins; and a son-in-law, David Katz. She is also survived by her nephews,William, Robert, and Thomas Tatro; and two nieces, Caroline Davis and Janet Hernandez.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Angeline Chase will be held at Cheshire Cemetery at a
later date and time to be announced. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Chase may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of
DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire.
