Obituary for Andrew F. White

ANDREW F. "BUTCH" WHITE, Jr., 63, of 80 Tennyson Avenue, formerly of Windsor, died Friday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, April 30, 1943, the son of Andrew F. White, Sr., and Victoria Coppola White, he was educated in Dalton and Pittsfield schools and was a 1961 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He served in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. White had been employed by Sinicon Plastics for three years, had worked
for General Electric, and had worked in sales at one time. From 1984 to 1989, he owned
and operated Windsor Woodstoves. He retired in 2003.He enjoyed hunting and motorcycling, was an avid coin collector, and enjoyed
playing the guitar and harmonica. He was a Boston sports fan. Mr. White leaves his wife, the former Alice M. Blache, whom he married January
25, 1969, in Stephentown, New York.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Lewis J. White of Amherst, N.H.; a
sister, Fay Mouelleum of Slave Lake, Alberta, Canada; and two granddaughters.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for ANDREW F. "BUTCH" WHITE, JR., who died Friday,
February 16, will be held Sunday, February 18, at 2:00 p.m., at DERY-FOLEY
FUNERAL HOME in Dalton with Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor of St. Charles Church,
officiating. Calling hours will be held Sunday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the Funeral
Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. White may be made to
American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association in care of the Funeral
Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
Mr. White also leaves his daughter-in-law, Cynthia White; two granddaughters,
Lauren and Rachel, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister,
Patricia White Dimanche.
