Obituary for Alyse M. Rose

ALYSE MARIE ROSE, 86, of 20 Stockbridge Avenue, Dalton, died Saturday morning at her home.
Born in Lenox Dale, June 21, 1920, a daughter of James A. and Katherine J. Feeney Farrington, she was a graduate of Lenox High School.
In 1958, Mrs. Rose went to work for Crane & Co., Incorporated where she was employed in the Main Office doing purchasing, retail customer service, and as switchboard operator. She retired in 1985 with 30 years service.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church. She was a past president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Lenox Dale. She enjoyed yard work and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Rose is survived by a son, J. Kevin Rose of Henderson, Nevada; two
daughters, Joanne R. Donald of Richmond and Karen M. Rose of, California; a brother, Joseph Farrington of Dalton; two sisters, Madeline Farrington of Pittsfield, and Katherine Harold of Cambridge, Ohio; nine grandchildren and eleven
great grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for ALYSE MARIE ROSE, who died Saturday, September 16,
will be held Thursday, September 21, at 9:15 a.m., from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL
HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church, celebrated
by Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in
Lenox. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Rose may be made to St. Agnes
church in care of the Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
Mrs. Rose was pre-deceased by a brother, James A. Farrington, and two sisters,
Rosalie Gibbs and Vera Taylor.
